1. About Us / Where are you located?

We are a small, family- and firefighter-owned business proudly serving customers since 2015. Our workshop is based in North Georgia, where every product is handcrafted by us with care and precision.

All of our materials are sourced in the USA, and every item we create reflects our commitment to quality, durability, and the firefighting community we proudly support.

Being a small business allows us to put our heart and soul into each piece we make—because we’re not just making products, we’re making something that lasts a lifetime.

2. How can I check the status of my order?

Please email us your order number and name, and we’ll be happy to help.

Please keep in mind our turnaround time when inquiring about your order :)

3. What is your turnaround time?

All items are handmade and made-to-order. Typical production times:

• Radio Straps: 4–7 weeks

• Locker Plates: 1–2 weeks

Custom orders or sales items may take longer during Holiday season and Sales. Turnaround refers to production only, not shipping.

4. How long will shipping take?

After shipping, delivery usually takes 2–7 business days depending on your location. Expedited shipping may be available—production time remains the same.

5. How will I know when my order ships?

You’ll receive tracking information via email as soon as your order ships.

6. My tracking hasn’t updated. What does that mean?

Tracking labels are sometimes printed in bulk. If your tracking shows no movement, your order is still in production. Every package is scanned at the post office to ensure it isn’t lost. Once scanned, you'll see movement.

8. How do I clean or care for BioThane® products?

Cleaning is quick and easy:

• Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap

• Rinse with clean water if needed

• Air dry—avoid direct sunlight for long periods

• No oils, conditioners, or special cleaners required

BioThane® stays strong, flexible, and odor-free with minimal effort, making it ideal for daily or heavy-duty use.

9. What’s the best way to order bulk locker plates?

The easiest way is to email us your order details:

• Size and style of the plates

• List of names to be included

• Logo file (if applicable)

We will then email you an invoice for your order, and you can submit payment directly.

10. What are the locker plates made out of?

Our locker plates are made from high-quality heavy aluminum with premium sublimation printing, ensuring that the design is vivid, durable, and won’t peel or scratch.

Each plate is built to last, perfect for daily use in firehouses, gyms, or anywhere you want your personalized plate to stand out.

11. Are the locker plates magnetic?

No, our locker plates are not magnetic. They are designed to slide easily into locker slots, or you can attach them using your own adhesive or magnets if you prefer.

This design allows for a secure fit without relying on magnets, giving you flexibility for installation.

12. Can I donate fire hose to Rustic Firefighter?

Yes! If you’d like to donate hose or see belts made from your department’s hose, email us with details at rusticfirefighter@gmail.com.

13. What is your return policy?

All items are made-to-order. Orders cannot be canceled or returned.
We do not issue refunds for shipping delays, lost packages, or damaged items.
